2018 Phorest Salon Owners’ Summit aims to inspire greatness

More than 500 salon owners and managers from the UK, US, Ireland, Germany and Finland attended salon software brand Phorest’s fourth-annual Salon Owners Summit.
The sold-out event was held on Monday, January 8 at the Convention Centre in Dublin.
A line up of industry and non-industry speakers presented on this year’s theme “Great Starts Here”, chaired by Phorest chief executive Ronan Perceval.
Keynote speaker Tabatha Coffey drew on her experience as a salon owner and business coach as she spoke to delegates about developing the motivation, inspiration and confidence to take their beauty businesses to the next level.
Other speakers included Gareth Hoare, manager of Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa in London, who encouraged delegates to recognise their own expertise; and Steve Martin, director of Influence At Work and business skills author, who shared his six principles of persuasion and how they can be applied to a salon environment.
Perceval commented: "This is our biggest and best salon owners summit to date, there has been great excitement building ahead of today’s event”.
The education event was followed by an evening of food and entertainment in Dublin.
