Professional Beauty Awards 2020 to go virtual on December 8
For the first time ever, the Professional Beauty Awards will be hosted as an interactive, virtual event this year.
The 2020 winners will be announced via a dynamic online celebration on December 8.
Given the current restrictions, it is no longer possible to run the awards as a physical event so Professional Beauty Group made the positive decision to reward the much-deserved finalists with their awards in 2020 rather than postpone to 2021.
The awards are the most prestigious accolade for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets, having served the industry for more than 20 years and now more than ever it is important to celebrate the achievements of the community.
"Holding the Professional Beauty Awards as a virtual event will allow a much-needed opportunity for the industry to come together and celebrate the businesses that have worked harder than ever this year to keep standards high and prove the beauty and spa industry is innovative, resilient and essential for wellbeing," said Professional Beauty editor Eve Oxberry.
"I'd like to thank our finalists and sponsors for being so patient as changing covid-19 guidelines caused delays to the event and I look forward to celebrating in style with everyone on December 8. The virtual Professional Beauty Awards will be streamed live on our Facebook page at 7.45pm on Tuesday, December 8. All finalists, judges and sponsors have been notified and invited to join the platform for a networking drinks reception ahead of the presentation.
