Rebecca Ferguson opens beauty salon in Liverpool

Pop star and former X-Factor winner Rebecca Ferguson has become the latest celeb to enter the beauty industry with the opening of her first salon in Liverpool.

She opened Rebecca Ferguson's Beauty Boudoir in the Childwell area of Liverpool this week and is already plotting a second site.

In keeping with its Liverpool location, the salon specialises in nails, tanning, brows and lashes but also offers waxing and facials.

The facials have a Hollywood theme in a bid to make clients feel like stars. The Luxury Audrey Facial includes exfoliation, steam, a mask and a hand and arm massage with rose water, while the Marilyn Glamour Facial includes a double cleanse and mask and ends with a rose and chamomile shoulder massage.

“I’ve always been interested in beauty, I studied it when I was 16 and 17, and I know it’s a good idea to invest in something alongside my music," Ferguson told the Liverpool Echo. "I’m thinking ahead, too, and my little girl Lily wants to be in the beauty industry when she grows up, so I’m planning for her future.”

The singer is also planning the opening of a second salon in nearby Cheshire.

On February 4, she tweeted: "My HD Brow bar arrived looking forward to having them done in the shop. Got 3 weeks to set up my other shop in cheshire then bk to recording".
