Regent Seven Seas Cruises is to add a new luxury liner, complete with a spacious Canyon Ranch Spa Club, to its fleet of cruise ships. Due for completion in 2016, the Seven Seas Explorer will feature 369 suites, ranging from 28sq m to 139sq m.
Estimated to cost of £298m (US$450m), the ship will have space for 738 guests. Facilities onboard will include six restaurants, three boutiques, an Explorer theatre and a nine-deck atrium. Kunal S Kamlani, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said: “This new ship order is part of our disciplined growth strategy to expand our footprint in the luxury market.”
While details of the onboard Canyon Ranch Spa Club have yet to be revealed, the spa is likely to feature the same combination of spa and salon services – ranging from massages and body scrubs to manicures and pedicures – already offered in the Canyon Ranch Spa Clubs on the Seven Seas Voyager, the Seven Seas Mariner and the Seven Seas Navigator.
