Resense promotes Emma Darby to chief operating officer

International wellness solutions company Resense has promoted Emma Darby to chief operating officer. 

Darby was formerly global operations director, which saw her directing Resense’s spa operations portfolio for three years. 

In her new role, Darby oversees a global team of operators and training managers supporting 35 spas, in addition to a further 30 spas in various stages of pre-opening. 

Prior to joining Resense, Darby was a senior spa director for six years with Ritz Carlton, managing spas around the world. 

Darby commented: “It is a privilege to lead Resense’s operations, especially in such a time of growth and expansion.

“We have ambitious plans and I am looking forward to taking our operational support systems to a new level, as well as continuing to innovate through new wellness technologies”.

Resense creates and operates luxury spa brands through consulting services including concept, design, sustainability and more. 

Kempinski Spa Aqaba, a Resense spa, is taking part in this year's World Wellness Weekend, with activities planned across the two days including a fun run, mini massages and hatha yoga.
