Ritz-Carlton to open second Kazakhstan hotel

The Ritz-Carlton is set to add a second property to its Kazakhstan property portfolio, the Ritz-Calton Astana, due to open in 2017.
The 157-room and suite hotel will occupy 20 of the 27 stories in the mixed use Talan Towers, which is scheduled to be completed in 2016 and will also house retail outlets, flats and offices.
The Ritz-Calton Astana will feature a spa and fitness centre, an indoor swimming pool and a variety of restaurants and bars. The property will also comprise meeting and events facilities, including a 990sq m ballroom.
