Salon Services launches online training tutorials

Salon Services is launching online courses for beauty professionals to improve their business skills. The Guild-accredited courses, which will go live at the end of March, cover subjects such as marketing a salon and maintaining high industry standards.

Clair Seymour, category manager for education at the wholesaler, said, “Understanding the business behind hair and beauty is becoming increasingly important, so we’ve added a number of business courses to help professional expand their skills in this area.”

The six online courses are part of a range of 23 new courses added to the 2014 training prospectus, which includes Swedish body massage.

The wholesaler also recently announced plans to open nine new stores across the UK in 2014, with the first site, on the Isle of Wight, opening in January.
