The 3,000sq m spa will be located a five-minute walk from the hotel and will comprise 17 treatment rooms. Facilities at the spa, which will be sprawled across three levels, will include a wet area with saunas, infrared saunas, ice showers and hammams.
The spa will also feature a relaxation area, a library, a game room, yoga and meditation pavilions and a “green bar” serving juices and nutrition shots and offering express beauty services.
The treatment menu will fuse traditional spa treatments with high-tech offerings, and will include massage, facials and beauty and fitness services. One of the spa’s signature treatments will be delivered in an outdoor bath by the side of the surrounding Hajar mountains.
Bernhard Bohnenberger, president of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, said “Six Senses Spa Muscat will take the spa experience in the Middle East to a whole new level.”
A private ladies club will form part of the spa and will include a gym, yoga studio, manicure/pedicure area, treatment rooms and a wet area with hammam and ice shower facilities.
The ladies club will also have a pool, and its own private, women-only, beach. Treatments offered will range from facials and anti-ageing offerings, to prenatal treatments.
