Spatec Europe returns

Leading spa business event Spatec returns for the seventh year later this month, gathering buyers and suppliers from across the European spa industry in Tenerife April 24-27.
Attracting a record 150 delegates, the 2013 event will include more than 70 buyers, representing over 2,000 spas around Europe, and will follow the trademark Spatec format of being centred around one-on-one meetings.
Allowing both buyers and suppliers to select who they would like to meet with in advance and issuing personal meeting schedules, Spatec aims to connect all delegates with the individuals most relevant to their business. A total of 1,500 meetings are scheduled to take place during this year’s event, held at the Abama Golf & Spa Resort, with 20 minutes allocated for each meeting.
Buyers who attended last year’s Spatec Europe included representatives from Urban Retreat, Hand Picked Hotels, the Bannatyne Group, Ragdale Hall Health Hydro and Thermal Spa, the Dorchester Collection, the spa at Blythswood Square and the W Barcelona.
Among the suppliers who attended in 2012 were Comfort Zone, Caci International, Decléor, Babor, SpaRitual, Thalgo and Kerstin Florian, with this year promising an equally strong buyer and supplier line-up.
Spatec Europe follows Spatec Spring North America, held in New Orleans April 7-10, with Spatec Fall North America to be held in San Diego later this year, September 8-11.
