Learn how to become an eco-friendly salon at Phorest’s Conscious Hair & Beauty event

With the environmental damage caused by single-use plastics and beauty packaging in the spotlight, software provider Phorest is hosting a free event to help beauty and hair salons make their businesses more sustainable.
The Conscious Hair & Beauty event, taking place on Sunday, November 3, at OXO2 in London, is an opportunity for salon owners to learn about simple sustainable swaps and the actions they need to instil in their business to make friendlier choices for the environment.
The event includes speakers at the forefront of the conscious beauty movement who will be sharing their sustainability journey, including:
- Denise Baden, professor at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, teaching and researching in the area of sustainability, ethics and corporate social responsibility
- Anne Veck and Keith Mellen, owners of Anne Veck Salon, the first carbon neutral salon.
There will also be talks on wellness and mental health, with the full education programme being confirmed soon, as well as countless networking opportunities.
