Sugaring London, a multi-site brand focused on sugaring hair removal, has opened its third salon in Coal Drops Yard in King Cross, London.

Owned by Dutch-born, California trained, London-based brother and sister Tanja and Thomas Westendorff, Sugaring London was launched in 2017.

The first salon, the Notting Hill flagship, opened with the aim “to bring clean beauty and straight-talking Dutch and LA glam to the UK”.

The second studio opened in Shoreditch in 2018 and is located at 105 Redchurch Street.

Like the two existing sites, the new Sugaring London in King’s Cross Coal Drops Yard has blush pink walls and sweeping oak lines, adorned with rows of cacti, which represent the tagline “all muffs are different, yet the same”.

The team trained at London-based The Sugaring Academy and offer a range of sugaring treatments from Brazilian, Hollywoods and bikini hair-removal treatments, through to “Manzillians”, underarm, leg and full-body treatments

All the sugaring products used at the salons are made in the brand’s own factory.

In addition to treatments, Sugaring London also sells homecare products to keep skin in top condition between visits.

Retails lines on offer include Lip Organic Intimate soothing oils, I Love My Muff intimate on-the-go wipes and Sugaring London’s own-brand Bikini Brush and Glow Mitts.

What is sugaring?

Sugaring is growing in popularity, offering an alternative to waxing that uses entirely natural ingredients. Read our guide how does sugaring work and what are the benefits? here.

Sugaring is an  method of hair removal using sugar, lemon and water to create a paste similar to caramel.

The paste is applied in the same direction as the hair growth for a smooth hair removal process that can help eliminate ingrown hairs.
