The beauty industry has come out in force to provide support to employees affected by Skn Group’s closure, with salons and clinics across the country expressing condolences and advertising job vacancies.
Skn Group ceased trading on July 17, leading to the closure of Sk:n Clinics, The Harley Medical Group, Skinbrands, The Skin Experts and ABC Medical – and the loss of hundreds of jobs.
The news was met with sadness across the beauty and aesthetics sectors, with many professionals sharing fond memories of working with Skn Group or lamenting the loss of an industry stalwart.
In a heartwarming gesture, many salons and clinics came forward with offers of employment assistance for employees of Skn Group who have been made redundant.
