Track & field superstar Sha’Carri Richardson has become the queen of nail art. She did not disappoint at the opening ceremony with her bedazzled USA-representing set before swapping them out for a sparkly stiletto set featuring mosaic designs. Our favourite Sha’Carri set of the Paris Olympics 2024 was her Olympic trial nails which featured gold, bejeweled tiger designs created by nail tech Sophia Kinaya Haug who made three sets for the track-star for her time in Paris!
Keely Hodgkinson, Great Britain, Track & Field
Great Britain's Keely Hodgkinson dominated the Olympic 800m final to win gold in Paris and end her wait for a global title. Her nails for the event were also some of our favourites featuring authentic Roman silhouette nail art created by the incredible Sylvie MacMillan
Chase Jackson (Ealey), USA, Track & Field
American track and field athlete Chase Jackson is the first women’s shot put world champion to win on the first attempt, all while wearing the prettiest butterfly eye makeup representing strength and softness as the Olympic games. Chase has become known for her bold and beautiful eye makeup looks while she is participating.
Noah Lyles, USA, Track & Field
Proving nail art is for everyone, Noah Lyles sported abstracts of The Star Spangled Banner on one hand and the word ‘ICON’ on the other.
During an interview with US Weekly, Lyles laughed off critics: “To be honest, I’m so confident in myself that it doesn’t really matter. I think [the comments are] funny at times.”
Yaroslava Mahuchikh, Ukraine, High Jump
Ukrainian winner of the high jump at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Yaroslava Mahuchikh not only wowed with her winning performance but also her eye make-up which matched the Ukrainian flag.
Simone Byles, USA, Gymnastics
The stand-out star of the Paris Olympics Simone Byles AKA the GOAT, secured 3 gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics making history. It wasn’t just her wins that we were all obsessed with but the flawless finish of her makeup, even after somersaulting through the air.
Akoko Komlanvi, Togo, Rowing
Togo’s flag colours of green, red, white and yellow, adorned the hands of rowing champion Akoko Komlanvi who also wore her country’s colours in her braided hair making for a super striking and proud look.
Shirine Boukli, France, Judo
Shirine Boukli is a French Judoka. She won one of the bronze medals in the women’s 48kg event this year, and after dazzling us with her performance she stunned us yet again with her tooth gems as she smiled at the podium.
