Edinburgh boutique spa & health club opens with focus on organics
Launching this month, The Spa at the Principal Edinburgh, Charlotte Square, is the first spa in Scotland to offer Oskia treatments.
A range of body and beauty treatments from the award-winning British organic range, including The Signature Oskia Glow Facial, will be available.
Complementing Oskia, the ishga range of products and treatments, employing Scottish marine ingredients, will also be used at the spa.
ishga, developed on the Isle of Lewis, harnesses the natural anti-oxidant, healing and anti-ageing properties provided by the purest Scottish seaweed.
The spa also will feature a mood lit 12m pool, a thermal area including sauna and steam rooms, and experience showers.
There are three treatment rooms, a cosy snug for relaxation and elegantly designed changing rooms.
In addition to the spa, there will be a new gym and fitness studio providing a range of classes from morning to night.
The spa completes The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte’s recent multi-million restoration project.
Johan Scheepers, general manager at The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square said: “The new Spa at The Principal is the final piece of the jigsaw and marks the completion of our beautiful new hotel.
“We’re excited to see everything come together and believe that the spa has something different to offer, both for hotel guests and for Edinburgh locals.
“We offer bespoke, flexible packages, and our opening hours mean the spa and health club is accessible all week, mornings, afternoons and evenings so perfect for corporate memberships.”
