New Mandara Spa opens in the Maldives
Mandara Spa has added another spa to its global portfolio with the opening of the new Amaya Spa by Mandara in the Maldives.
The spa, located in luxury resort Amaya Kuda Rah Maldives, features three treatment rooms. Facilities include a steam room, experience shower, retail space and manicure/pedicure area.
The treatment menu blends Asian-inspired therapies with treatments by British skincare brand Elemis and include massages, facials, bodywork options and beauty services.
Mandara signature treatments, such as the Pure Nature Facial, Mandara Massage and Ultimate Indulgence are also available. The Pure Nature Facial is designed to revive and protect the skin and comes in three versions: for normal, environmentally harmed and dry or mature skin.
The Mandara Massage is a four-hands massage blending Shiatsu, Thai, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish and Balinese techniques. The Ultimate Indulgence treatment, meanwhile, is a luxurious experience that includes a footbath, body scrub, herbal steam and massage, among other elements.
Trent Munday, senior vice president, international at Mandara Spa, said: “We’re excited to expand our operations in the Maldives with our new collaboration with Amaya Resorts & Spas.
“Our team look forward to continuing serving our guests with Mandara’s signature treatments and Balinese hospitality.”
Amaya Kuda Rah Maldives is located on the South Ari Atoll in the Maldives and features 51 villas and suites, a private beach and a number of dining options.
Established in 1995, Mandara Spa now has spas around the world, including Bali, Dubai, Hawaii, Japan, the US, Thailand, Russia, the UK and Malaysia, and many other destinations.
