Renovated spa to open at Mallorca’s boutique Son Brull hotel
The family-owned Son Brull hotel in northern Mallorca is unveiling a renovated and expanded new spa next month.
The new spa will feature three treatment rooms, including one for couples’ treatments, and will be centred on the element of the four seasons. There will be a particular focus on nature and connecting with the earth in the spa, which is located by the hotel’s gardens.
Built to blend in with the architecture of the hotel as a whole, a former monastery dating back to the 12th century, the spa has been designed with the use of materials including wood and stone.
Facilities at the spa will include a thermal area with an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and hammam, as well as a yoga and meditation studio. There will also be a heated outdoor pool and a fitness centre.
The reopened spa will additionally feature a new treatment menu, with facials, massages, signature therapies, beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures, and 135-minutes seasonal rituals, among other options.
The Spring ritual is designed to energise and features a massage, body scrub and mask, and revitalising facial. The Summer option aims to vitalise and includes a body exfoliation and wrap, body massage and hydrating facial.
The Autumn ritual was developed to heal and regenerate and comprises a hot stone massage, reflexology and a nourishing facial.
All treatments will be carried out using products developed with ingredients sourced from Mallorca, with prickly pear being a key active hroughout.
