Bettina started to work with nails 8 years ago and founded Crystal Nails Ireland in 2009 with the purpose of changing the nail trends in Ireland from the most traditional French shape to more trendy and fashionable shapes created with new amazing colours using the latest salon techniques. She has completed over 30 trainings and courses with European and World champion master educators from all over Europe in order to be able to provide the most up to date knowledge to her colleagues and customers too. She takes part in every aspect of her job including sales, marketing, education, testing and competing and love every minute of her work.
She has started to work together with nail salons to create a scheme where the most talented students can start working immediately after completing our course. This is a great way to help both Irish students and benefit the salons too. She is so glad that the salons have heard about the high quality education system and contacted them to offer them talented students.
PB What is the background of the company and what type of products do you offer?
BB Crystal Nails have been developing a high quality product line for the most ambitious nail technicians, giving them choices to gratify their never-ending creativity to guide them toward becoming a top professional.
We are proud of the Crystal Nails competitors who won 3 World Championships and 21 other trophies at the Nailympics London, and have received more than 100 1st place trophies around the world, making us overall World Nail Champions.
PB What is your most popular product and what do you think makes it popular?
BB The Titanium Builder Clear Gel is the most popular product of Crystal Nails. Non burning, non yellowing and has the perfect consistency to work with. Cures under UV and LED light too.
PB What makes your products special over the competition?
BB Crystal Nails materials are developed and tested by the best nail technicians in the world and provide exactly what the nail techs need. There is extremely wild selection in each product line (e.g. more than 400 colours in gels). The packaging is also very impressive.
PB How cost effective are your products when introducing them into a salon?
BB Products are very cost effective, One Step Crystalac our newest development of gel polish system has been created to save both money and time for salons and clients too as it doesn’t require primers, base and top coat.

PB Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their salons?
BB Yes, we do provide free of charge workshops and demonstrations to our customers to make sure that they know how to use our products properly. We also provide all kinds of nail courses and trainings from beginner to master educator level.
PB Why should salon owners visit your stand at the show?
BB We will be doing demonstrations of all different kind of nail shapes made by both gels and acrylic and also promoting our very quick and durable One Step Crystalac system. We will answer any questions about all of our products and giving away little secrets to salon owners and nail technicians how they could save time and money and make their clients satisfied by using our products. We will also be giving away free posters to all customers purchasing from us.
PB Are you having anything new on your stand at the show?
BB Crystal Nails is coming out with brand new products 4 times each year and certainly will have lot of surprises for the Autumn/Winter season too. New effects, colours, materials and much more…
PB Will you be having any special offers exclusive to the show?
BB All products will be VAT free at the show. On top of that there will be special offers on colour gels, gel polishes and other products. We will also giving huge discounts on all our trainings and courses during the show.
PB Any other plans for the show?
BB Crystal Nails will represent itself with 3 nail technicians during the National Nail Competition.
PB What tips would you give salon owners looking to introduce a new line into their salon?
BB We would encourage salon owners to interview their regular clients about the planned new line to see how would they like it. If they are open for it they could try it on an introductory price. We would also recommend salon owners to build more audience and create little online campaigns on social media sites such as Facebook.
PB Please tell us any current news or anything which is taking place at the moment outside of show activities.
BB Our educators have just come home from a 3-day master nail diploma course hosted by Zsuzsanna Fekete 2 times European champions. We are also organizing master level and educator courses in Gel, Acrylic and Nail Art categories for October-November in Dublin. We are in the middle of testing the new autumn/winter collections and product ranges in order to introduce them at the show.
