Day Two at PB London
As the second day at Excel kicked off, so did the Warpaint Competition where make-up artists were able to show off their skill through a range of categories. Glancing through the collection of models, the MUAs excelled in producing designs from the demure to the downright odd; check out the list of winners soon to come.
HD Brows gave visitors the chance to sample some of its new make-up line, which features eye palettes and blushers. PB was able to have a browse through the new collection and it looks like it will be a great addition to many salons.
PB also stopped by Darphin’s stand, one of the prettiest stands on show. The French skincare brand had decked out the back room with Perspex chairs, glossy silver pillows and blooming flowers in Darphin signature colours, where therapists held live demos for visitors to oversee and pick up some tips.
The lilac bus Elemis brought this year certainly caught PB’s eye, where visitors were offered a quick paper session with one of the therapists. On the other side of the hall I had a wander around Nail Harmony’s stand, who presented the All That Jazz collection through a 20s style flapper theme, with plush red carpets and black tassels.
This year was definitely a standout show, that ended on a great high as it was the 25th anniversary, and the PB team enjoyed every minute perusing around the many different stands and talking to visitors.
