Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa reopens

The spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has reopened following a six-month renovation. The refurbished resort spa, located in upstate New York, contains 10 treatment rooms, with amenities including a whirlpool and steam room, heated loungers and three manicure and four pedicure stations.

The spa philosophy is pinned on three core themes: relax, renew and imagine, with treatments offered ranging from massages and facials to water therapy. The spa décor has been influenced by the natural mineral springs that give Saratoga Springs its name, with nature being a key theme. Spa director Ginger Mclean said the design "connects with the earth and speaks to the serenity and tranquillity associated with nature”.

The reopening of the Saratoga Springs spa follows the opening of the 15-treatment room spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in December 2012.
