Starwood opens Ajman Saray in the UAE

The Ajman Saray, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury Collection of properties, has opened in the UAE. Located in the emirate of Ajman, the 205-room and suite hotel features the first Goco-branded spa in the country, five dining outlets and generous meeting and events space. 

Among the amenities at the spa, divided into separate sections for men and women, are 17 treatment rooms, including two luxury spa suites. The spa, which covers 1,250sq m, also features separate thermal areas – with sauna, steam room, hammam, ice showers and chromotherapy rain showers – for men and women, a beauty salon for women and a Gentlemen Barber by Hommage for men. 

Treatments at the spa include the Oriental Massage signature treatment; incorporating Eastern and Western massage techniques and a black diamond exfoliation, and a range of face, body, beauty and grooming options. Other leisure facilities at the hotel are a private beach, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a children’s club. 

The five food and beverage outlets at the hotel include Middle Eastern restaurant Mejhana, seafood restaurant Safi Restaurant & Bar and the Escape lounge. The1,000sq m meeting and events space incorporates six meetings rooms and a ballroom.
