The first Ila Only spa opens at the Raas Jodhpur, India

The first of a series of Ila Only spas, run and managed by the brand, has opened at luxury boutique hotel Raas Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. The spa, which spans 290sq m, features four treatment rooms, three single and one couples' room. Other amenities at the spa include steam rooms, and  clients also have access to the hotel swimming pool. 

Treatments at the spa, which has been designed around relaxation and healing, include Ayurvedic marma massages, yogic healing and energy work, treatments for couples and expectant mothers, and the Raas Rose Bliss signature treatment. Incorporating a facial, a body scrub and a massage, the treatment aims to de-stress the mind and help create hormonal balance. 

Ila founder, Denise Leicester said: "India has always been a very special place for ila so to open our first Ila Only spa there is just wonderful. Ila Only has been in the plan for evolving the brand for many years. We have long wanted to develop a range of bespoke spa environments that remain true to their surroundings and hold the essence of wellbeing. Now feels the right time to launch it and Ila Only Spa Raas Jodhpur couldn’t be a more energising start to that story."

Ingredients from the region, including Rajasthani damascena rose otto, tuberose, Mysore sandalwood, jasmine from Kerala and salt crystals from the Himalayas are used in treatments. Staff at the spa have been trained in mindfulness and heart consciousness techniques. Raas owner Nikhilendra Singh said: “I feel Ila's roots are in India so I see our partnership as Ila as coming home. I'm delighted that the first Ila Only spa will be housed at Raas."
