Amy Childs launches into professional beauty market

Reality TV star Amy Childs is entering the professional beauty market – launching a training academy, a professional tanning range and salon uniforms later this month.

The Amy Childs Academy will train therapists in all aspects of the tanning process – from application to growing your business  and will offer one-on-one training as well as VIP days which include lunch with Childs.

The professional tanning range is designed to include everything a therapist would need to offer tanning services, and includes a compact tanning machine for mobile therapists and a larger one for busy salons, both in Amy’s signature purple. Also included in the range is an inflatable spray tent, which is machine washable and lightweight.

Products in the range comprise a 10% spray tan solution, a high-quality moisturiser and, a gentle exfoliator. Retail products for at-home tanning will be available in October 2013.

Amy Childs’ new salon uniforms will feature lace-detailed designs in lightweight and high-quality material which won’t crease. The uniforms will come in black, cream, purple and blue.

Childs is launching the professional products and the training days at the Olympia Beauty trade show, where the uniforms will be available for pre-order. Amy will be appearing at Olympia Beauty at the ‘Celebrity Hot Spot’ at 12pm and 3pm for product signing and to promote the launch.
