Aromatherapy Associates wins big at 2017 CEW Awards

Aromatherapy Associates took home six awards at the 2017 CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Awards this afternoon.

The brand fought off competition from popular consumer brands in six categories and scooped two of the afternoon’s most prestigious awards – Best British Brand Mass & Prestige and Classic FM Beauty Hall of Fame.

Winning the Classic FM Beauty Hall of Fame Award (the radio station sponsored the event) comes with a £50,000 advertising contract for Aromatherapy Associates on one of the station’s media platforms.

The brand won the Classic FM award for Relax Deep Bath & Shower Oil, Best New Wellbeing Product Mass & Prestige for Inner Strength Soothing Face Oil, Best New Men’s Grooming Product Mass & Prestige for Refinery Shampoo, Best Classic Beauty Product Prestige for De-Stress Muscle Bath & Shower Oil, and Best New Bath and Body Product Prestige for Revive Body Lotion.

Elemis also won two awards – Best New Everyday Facial Skincare Product Prestige for Superfood Facial Oil and Best New Skincare Treatment Product Prestige for Dynamic Resurfacing Serum.

Other pro brands that picked up one of the coveted awards were Margaret Dabbs, which won Best New Hand, Foot and Nail Care Product Mass & Prestige for its Bare Feet Nourishing Cracked Heel Balm, Pai, which won Best New Certified Organic Skincare Product Mass & Prestige for Head to Toe Hero Buriti Balm; and St Tropez, which won Best New Self Tan or Suncare Product Mass & Prestige for Gradual Tan Tinted.

Christianne Cavaliere de Moncayo, chief executive of London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) and board member of CEW presented a cheque from CEW to The Eve Appeal, a gynaecological cancer research charity.

The awards were held at The Hilton on London’s Park Lane on April 28.
