Authentic wellness among key themes being discussed at second Spa Fest event

This year’s Spa Fest conference kicked off yesterday (September 20), with topics including blending wellness with commercial integrity, representing the industry authentically and "leading from the front".
Returning for the second time this year, the event is taking place at The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall yesterday and today.
As well as the opportunity for delegates to relax and "engage with fresh ideas", a line-up of wellness experts are there to host discussion sessions. Keynote speakers include Simon Cohen, an international speaker who champions media ethics and social justice; Jamie Edwards, founder of The Trained Brain and Tim Westwell, co-founder of Pukka Herbs.
Amanda Winwood, founder of Made for Life Foundation, which organises the event, said, "This is a place for honest conversations with colleagues in a relaxed environment. Spa Fest is about bringing together a group of people across the wellness industry and enabling them to learn and connect, without having to sell or be sold to.”
All profits from the event will go to the Made for Life Foundation to provide holistic support for people going through cancer.
