Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa in Guildford expands to offer fitness classes

Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa in Guildford has undergone a major expansion, now offering spa and fitness classes under one roof.

The expanded site, which opened on June 6, includes four new treatment rooms and now hosts classes such as yoga, pilates, barre and tai chi, conducted by a range of local teachers and instructors.

"Aveda is a loved and trusted brand, and for 13 years we have been privileged to offer customers in Guildford and across Surrey a unique and luxurious hair and beauty experience,” said owner Mary Ann Weeks.

"We were delighted when the opportunity arose to expand our business, and based on our customer feedback, have created a really special space where we can increase our beauty offering as well as give people the opportunity to try a wide variety of gentle fitness and holistic therapies in our new Wellness Studio."

Weeks has been hairdressing for more than 25 years and teamed up with Aveda in 2003 to start Surrey’s first Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa in Guildford. Her team offer Aveda’s signature hair and beauty services, including face and body treatments.

Weeks will be holding a party to celebrate the launch in July.
