Babtac signs deal with Program E>O

Babtac, the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology, has signed a deal with Program E>O to make the IPL manufacturer its first corporate member supplier.

Program E>O offers its IPL hair removal treatment system to salons to rent.

As part of the partnership, Babtac will promote the machine to its member salons, while Program E>O IPL will raise awareness about Babtac’s courses and membership when liasing with its own salon accounts and potential stockists.

Program E>O will put its IPL training course through Babtac's short course accreditation and will also run a seminar on Level 4 training in laser and IPL in September at the Olympia Beauty exhibition.

Program E>O executive director Sarah Hickey said: "We consider Babtac a key player in developing and upholding high standards in treatment and training in the beauty industry, which are values we share. We are particularly pleased to be providing IPL seminars for Babtac at the beauty exhibitions, keeping the next generation of beauty therapists trained in IPL.".

Babtac also launched collaborations with beauty brands Barry M and Beauty Boxes back in June through which Barry M is providing starter kits of its make-up in pink beauty boxes for Babtac will offer to its members at a discounted price.
