Beauty at The Gate develops consultation software

The team from PB Award-winning salon Beauty at the Gate has developed an online system for consultations called Consult with Confidence.

Prompted by the upcoming introduction of the Data Protection Act next year, the idea behind the system is to take all consultations online and do away with paper forms.

Consult with Confidence is a web portal that works on any device that has a web browser and internet connection, and is loaded with a wide selection of pre-built consultation forms that guide the therapist through consultation.

The system also has a function that alerts the therapist when it identifies a contraindication to treatment or an instance where a doctor’s note is required. Treatment notes and images can be added to forms and clients are automatically emailed aftercare advice for their treatment.

All data is stored securely online and complies with the incoming Data Protection Act. Salons and mobile therapists can sign up from £1.20 per day with a 90-day money back guarantee.
