Black Skin Directory launches e-pop-up shop series

The Black Skin Directory has unveiled the first in a series of targeted e-pop-ups, aiming to provide effective treatment solutions for those with darker skin tones.

With pigmentation being one of the most common skincare problems reported by black women and women of colour, especially after the summer months, the first online pop-up, launching October 1, will focus on tackling this issue.

Products available to buy will be the NeoStrata Enlighten Illuminating Serum, which is backed by clinical trials that show 87% of users had a clinical improvement of mottled pigmentation after four weeks; the Nuhanciam Anti Dark Spot Power and the SkinBetter Science Even Tone Cream, featuring patented b.r.y.t complex.

The platform, enabling women and men to find dermatologists, aestheticians and other skincare professionals experienced in treating darker skin, was launched in February 2018 by Dija Ayodele. It features educational tips, as welll as hosting regular events for individuals to learn about their skin, treatments and brands that will work for them.
