Cancer support charity launches Brow Arch March event
Charity Look Good Feel Better, which supports women struggling with the side effects of cancer treatment, has marked its 20th anniversary with an awareness film. The video, which is available on Youtube, aims to raise awareness about the emotional effects of cancer treatment and the benefits of the charity’s workshops.
The charity is also gearing up or its Brow Arch March next month, an initiative in partnership with consumer make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics and high street retailer Debenhams. Benefit’s brow bars in Debenhams will offer complimentary brow services in exchange for a donation to the charity. There will then be a march on Sunday March 9 taking walkers around central London.
Sarahjane Robertson, executive director of Look Good Feel Better, said, “Drawing on a natural looking brow is one of the most valuable skills we show people in our workshops and masterclasses. With sparse or missing brows and lashes you lose all forms of reference to you face and putting them back helps people find themselves again.”
