Chedi Sakala opens in Bali
The latest GHM property, the Chedi Sakala, will open its doors in Bali at the end of February, with the property’s spa set to open in the spring.
The third hotel on the Indonesian island for the Singapore-based hospitality group, the 247-suite Chedi Sakala is located on two and a half hectares of land on Tanjung Benoa beach in Nusa Dua in south-eastern Bali.
The hotel's eight-treatment room organic spa will use only natural and organic products. Treatments on the menu will include the Ila Himalayan Crystal Body Polish, using Himalayan crystal salt and designed to combat stress, exhaustion and cellulite and the Organic Naturelle D’Orient Facial - which includes a welcome ritual and a massage.
The health and relaxation facilities at the hotel also include the four-storey health club, complete with a yoga and aerobics studio, and two swimming pools. Among other amenities are two restaurants, the lobby bar, the 630sq m Chedi Ballroom and the Kids’ Club and Club Lounge.
GHM’s Bali hotel collection also includes The Legian Bali in Seminyak and The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah in Ubud. A further property, The Chedi Club Jimbaran, is scheduled to open later in the year.
