Culloden Estate update spa as part of £1 million renovation
Northern Ireland’s Culloden Estate & Spa has begun a £1 million refurbishment that will include changes to the spa. The Culloden spa, which opened in 1990, currently features eight treatment rooms, two relaxation rooms, a lounge area and the Zest juice bar.
The spa area also includes a health club with an indoor pool, a whirlpool and the eucalyptus steam room.The eight-week renovation programme, which began in January and is set for completion by March 14, will see a new nail bar aadde and an extension of the relaxation room.
Other news at the spa includes the introduction of the Espa Warm Bamboo Experience. The 80-minute treatment comprises a facial, a body exfoliation, a foot ritual and a full body massages featuring the use of bamboo and essential oils.
Spa manager Rachel Crawford said: “I’m delighted to be part of the team at the Culloden and extremely excited about the future of the spa, health club and medispa.”
The Culloden hotel also features a medispa, on which the hotel partners with Randox Health, Room One physiotherapy and Rejuvenate Anti-Ageing Clinic.
The £1m renovation at Culloden, which sits in 12 acres of land, also includes refurbishment to the hotel bedrooms, and The Mitre restaurant.
