David Lloyd Chigwell to launch spa facilities

David Lloyd’s Chigwell club in Essex is launching a new wet spa area, following a £3.4million investment in the site. The new facilities, which are due to open in the autumn, will include a spa pool, plunge pool, sauna, steam rooms and relaxation area, as well as a spa garden for relaxation.

The project will also see new gym facilities in the club, including a functional training zone three new exercise studios and a two physiotherapy rooms, and the club has developed its DLicious café bar to offer clients healthy dining options.

General manager of the site Gail Sainsbury said, “We are very excited to be able to offer the Chigwell community these stunning new facilities, which will support them in their health and fitness goals, as well as providing a superb environment in which to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life.”
