Finolhu resort in the Maldives partners with Pure Massage

The Maldives’ Finolhu resort and spa has partnered with London-based massages specialist Beata Alexandrowicz on new treatments.

The resort, which opened earlier this year, is located on the Baa Atoll in the Maldives, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. 

The spa on the property, The Cove Club, now exclusively offers massages developed by Alexandrowicz.

The treatments are based on the 12 principles on which Alexandrowicz's  Pure Massage concept is centred.

A series of treatments are now offered at The Cove Club, under the umbrella of Rockstar Bodywork by Pure Massage, including the Finolhu 3-2-1. 

Exclusive to the resort, the treatment is a synchronised massage that sees three therapists work on the same client in a balancing and deep relaxing massage. 

Alexandrowicz said: “It’s a unique treatment that takes great skills and powerful communication tools to empower the therapists, from passive providers to active advisors.”

Other Pure Massage treatments at Finolhu include the Jetlag Pure Massage, Body Pure Massage, Face Pure Massage and Back Pure Massage. 

Alexandrowicz’s massage concept includes training therapists to be attuned to the client’s emotional as well as physical state and needs.
