Four Seasons opens in Serengeti National Park

The Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti has opened in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

The 77-room property constitutes the Four Seasons first hotel in Sub-Saharan Africa and includes five private villas with swimming pools and 12 suites, complete with plunge pools.

Designed to reflect the African landscape that surrounds it, each room at the lodge features a sundeck with views of the Serengeti.

The resort also incorporates a spa complex, consisting of six freestanding pavilions and with a spa menu inspired by the national park in which the hotel is located.

Other facilities at the resort include an infinity pool, a fitness centre and a range of dining option from the a la carte Maji Bar and the Sundowner Bar to the Boma Grill, serving traditional, grilled, African cuisine.

The opening of the Safari Lodge Serengeti, follows the opening of the Four Seasons Beijing earlier in the autumn. Two further African properties, in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on Zanzibar, are also planned for the future.
