Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort opens with 18-treatment room spa
The 443-room Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort has officially opened its doors, with a range of amenities that include a 1,200sq m spa. The spa features 18 treatment rooms, including four couples’ suites and two waterside spa bungalows.
Both the décor and the spa menu takes inspiration from the nearby Everglades, with signature treatments including the La Floridian body treatment, which incorporates a sugar cane body polish with jasmine flower and pink grapefruit essential oils, a whipped shea butter cream massage, a body wrap and a jasmine hot oil hair and scalp treatment.
Other signature treatments include the Sticks & Stones Therapy, incorporating the use of birch wood and basalt salt massage sticks, and the resurfacing Fire & Ice facial.
Among the facilities at the spa are steam rooms and separate relaxation areas for men and women, complete with experience showers in each. The experience showers, which have an ice exfoliation feature, also comprise nine body spray massagers and four overhead misters, as well as LED lights and an audio system.
In addition to a range of facials and body treatments the spa also provides hair and beauty services in its salon. The salon features manicure and pedicure and hair styling stations, and also offers makeup services.
The spa additionally features an Aroma Design Bar, where clients can create their own signature scent to use at home.
The spa at Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort also caters for children. There is a selection of eight Princess options for girls, ranging from nails polish and face paint to hair styling services and Shining Knight packages, including hair styling, for boys.
Brands stocked at the spa include Natura Bissé, Amala, Body Bliss, Innovative Skincare, Turo Skin, Intraceuticals and Pino.
Other leisure and wellbeing amenities at the resort include three Har-Tru Sports tennis courts, a 24-hour fitntess centre, a family and an adults-only pool, beach volleyball space and a Splash Zone with water jets, waterslides and a climbing wall.
