The Asia based GHM hotel group has announced the winter 2013/2014 opening of its first ski resort, located in the canton of Uri in Switzerland.
Situated 1,440 metres above sea level, in the Swiss Alps, the Chedi Andermatt will feature 50 rooms and 119 residential units, all designed to reflect the alpine landscape surrounding the property.
Amenities at the hotel are set to include two restaurants, both an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. Services offered will include a dedicated ski lounge staffed by a team of ski butlers.
GHM President Hans R. Jenni said: “Our goal is an exclusive, modern, hotel that celebrates the glory days of Swiss hospitality and looks every bit as breath-taking as the surrounding scenery.”
