Global Wellness Summit announces speaker lineup

The Global Wellness Summit has announced the official speaker line-up for the 2016 summit in Austria.

Speakers at the summit, taking place in the town of Kitzbuhel in Austria’s Tyrol region on October 17-19, will include Nils Behrens, managing director of the Lanserhof group; Henri Chenot, chief executive of the Chenot group; and Harry F König head of medical care at Brenners Park Hotel & Spa.

Other names on the list of high profile speakers include the Lanserhof group’s medical director Dr Elke Benedetto-Reisch; Andreas Braun, chief executive of Swarovski; and Viva Mayr co-founders Drs Harald (left) and Christine Stossier.

Also speaking are Dietmar Mueller-Elmau, owner of Schloss Elmau; Thierry Malleret, co-founder of The Monthly Barometer; and Stephanie Moore, head nutritionist at Grayshott Health Spa.

As demonstrated by the inclusion of properties such as Viva Mayr, Lanserhof and Brenners Park, this year’s programme will have a strong focus on medical wellness, reflecting Austria’s leading role within this segment of wellness.
