Guinot franchise development manager receives franchise qualification

Ellie Tidy, Guinot’s franchise development manager, has gained QFP (qualified franchise professional) status from the British Franchise Association, making her the only person within beauty franchising to hold the qualification.

The qualification is the only nationally recognised award specific to the franchising industry, and is given to those who demonstrate “a highly developed level of expertise and experience in franchising and a thorough understanding of its complexities, ethical standards and best practices”.

Tidy commented: “As the Guinot franchise operation continues to gain momentum in the UK, it is important that we show our commitment to best practice in the sector. Working towards and successfully attaining the QFP demonstrates knowledge, learning and continuing professional development in franchising…and I am able to apply what I have learnt to the Guinot franchise operation.”

Three Guinot franchises currently operate in the UK, with a location set to open in Ireland later this year.
