Fifth Guinot franchise opens in North London

A franchise Guinot salon has opened in Cricklewood, North London.

Franchisee Gulshin Nawaz officially opened the three-treatment-room salon, located on Cricklewood Broadway, alongside the brand’s international franchise director Edouard Falguieres on July 20.

The front of the salon, on the site of a former estate agent, was replaced to create a more welcoming, open feel.

Guinot-trained Nawaz formally ran a home-based salon. She embarked on the franchise journey after meeting Falguieres and Guinot UK managing director Chris Gillam at Professional Beauty London in 2016.

Nawaz commented: “I am passionate about being a beauty therapist but had a slight hesitation in opening a salon, knowing how demanding it could be. [I] overcame my fear knowing that I had support anytime I required it. The choice of franchising with Guinot rather than opening up an independent salon was the right decision. I am excited about the years to come and very much looking forward to the salon becoming a huge success.”

This marks the fifth Guinot franchise in the UK. There are also two company-owned salons in Ascot and Greystones, Ireland.
