With its meticulously groomed front lawns and unassuming exterior, you could be forgiven for thinking you are about to enter a well-kept English cottage rather than a luxury spa. And that is exactly what the team behind the Spa at the Bedford Lodge Hotel intended.
The product of a £5.5million investment and two-year renovation project, the 1,100 sq m spa opened its doors to clients last month, aiming to fill the gap in the market for a high-end destination spa in the Newmarket area in Suffolk.
With ten treatment rooms, it’s a spa of considerable size and every element of the design if focused on ensuring that clients feel at home during their time in the spa.
