Lashologist UK launches at Professional Beauty 2013

 

A new trade body specifically for eyelash technicians will be launching at Professional Beauty London 2013. Lashologist UK is a none profit organisation set up in response to the huge growth in the eyelash industry over recent years.

The main function of this new organisation is to offer membership to individuals and companies that provide eyelash treatments in the UK. Members will learn about the best business practice, receive regular industry updates and tips on how to ensure their standards meet the highest health and safety requirements.

Lashologist UK is affiliated with the Lashologist Council of America, which has been in operation for 5 years. Chrissy Henderson, founder of Lashologist UK said: “Lashologist UK will be recognised as the voice of the eyelash industry and raise the profile of eyelash technicians as a profession in their own right. Members will be able to use the logo which will reassure customers that their technician meets a high level of excellence and safe practice.”
