Leading speakers headline the 2016 Professional Spa & Wellness Convention

Jeremy McCarthy, Hans-Peter Veit, Belgin Aksoy, Daniel Friedland and Liz Holmes are among the many speakers at this year’s Professional Spa & Wellness Convention.

The convention, taking place as part of the Professional Beauty show at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London on February 28-29, sees a diverse line-up of high profile speakers from within and outside of the industry talk on a wide range of topics that are high on the industry agenda.

Day one, Sunday February 28, includes leadership coach and managing director of Super Smarth Health Daniel Friedland’s keynote address on Neuroplasticity, Neuroleadership And Peak Performance Programmes For Spas.

The day also features the Wellness In Action session, with panellists including Belgin Aksoy, board member of the Aksoy Group and founder of Global Wellness Day.

Jeremy McCarthy, group director of spa at Mandarin Oriental, and Hans-Peter Veit, spa manager at Brenners Park Hotel & Spa, will both take part in the Human Resources panel on Sunday afternoon, while Liz Holmes, national health and beauty manager at Virgin Active, will sit on the Spa Leadership panel on Monday February 29.

Other speakers and topics at the event include QMS Medicosmetics principal Dr Erich Schulte, speaking as part of the Advanced Aesthetics panel on Monday and Jacqueline Kneebone, regional director of spa and retail at Morgans Hotel Group, also taking part in the Spa Leadership panel.

Alexandra Charalampidou, director of financial performance at spa consultancy and management company Resense is speaking as part of The Art And Science Of Spa Budgeting And Business Planning session, while George Tavelis, president of the Cyprus Spa Association and global spa director of the Global Wellness Group is speaking as part of the SPA KPIs panel – to name just a few.
