Lifehouse Spa signs deal with Espa

Essex day spa Lifehouse is set to relaunch next month following its rescue from administration and a new partnership with spa skincare brand Espa.

The spa has remained operational throughout the administration process but has been updated to reflect the deal with Espa and the change in management.

Lifehouse will keep its signature Oriental Bathing Experience treatment but will replace skincare brand Babor with Espa throughout the property, adding new treatments. The 35 treatment rooms have also been revamped to reflect Espa's ethos.

Lifehouse opened in early 2011, with a £30m investment but owner Tangram Leisure went into administration in November.

Lifehouse was rescued earlier this year by Thorpe Hall Leisure, which appointed Brian Hunter, formerly a spa consultant and spa director of Edinburgh's One Spa, as operations director.

ESPA chief executive and founder Susan Harmsworth said: "We feel proud to announce our partnership with the Lifehouse Spa and Hotel, which we consider to be a unique and exciting spa situated in magnificent surroundings."
