Lineup announced for Professional Beauty North’s Skin is Alive programme

A new programme, Skin is Alive, has been added to the seminar lineup for the Professional Beauty North trade show.

The show, held at the Manchester Central exhibition centre September 18-19, will feature a diverse range of education programmes, including the new Skin is Alive.

Topics that will be covered as part of the programme include menopausal skin, the effects of stress on the skin and the impact of pollution on skin health.

Among other topics on the agenda will be how to carry out a consultation with a client, radiofrequency for skin rejuvenation and the balance between vitamin D deficiency and too much sun exposure.

Also covered will be: making the transition from a beauty salon to an advanced clinic, and looking at the emotional causes of skin concerns.

Among the speakers on the Skin is Alive programme is nutritionist Kim Pearson as part of the Vitamin D session; Lorna Bowes, director of skincare distributor Aesthetic Source, speaking on the topic of clinical studies; iiaa trainer Fiona Capbell in the pollution session; and Dr Claudia Aguirre – as part of the The future of Skincare session.

Other seminar programmes at Profesisonal Beeauty North include Business Skills, Salon Skills and Nails Skills, as well as the How To workshops.

Attending Skin is Alive is £10 per sessions, including a champagne reception. All other seminar programmes are £5 a session.
