Nescens Spa opens at Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa
A dedicated Nescens Spa, the second in the world, has opened at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Switzerland.
The 5,500-square-meter spa is located on the site of what was previously an Espa spa and is only the second dedicated spa for Swiss skincare brand Nescens, after the spa at La Reserve Hotel Geneva.
Drawing on what Nescens, which has a results-driven approach and a strong medical and scientific focus, refers to as “better ageing”, the spa offers a series of better ageing programmes.
The personalised programmes feature a combination of nutrition coaching, spa and wellness treatments and physical activity and begin with an analysis to determine each client’s personal needs.
The spa’s multidisciplinary team of practitioners include doctors, nutritionists, osteopaths, therapists, reflexologists, personal trainers and hair stylists, among others.
Among the spa and wellness facilities is a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation lounge and fitness centre, as well as a spa bistro, serving a light, healthy cuisine.
Also continued within the Nescens Spa is the Sensai Select Spa area. Branded in partnership with Japanese skincare brand Sensai, the space is the location for Sensai makeup application and a range of the brand’s Silk Celebration face and body treatments.
Other treatments and servicers offered at Nescens spa include massages, underwater massages, figure-shaping treatments, cosmeceutical treatments, facials, body scrubs and wraps and treatments for men.
The spa also offers a series of beauty treatments, including manicures, pedicures, eyelash tinting, brow shaping and tinting, waxing and a selection of hair care services.
The fitness centre hosts around 30 fitness classes a week, as well as personal training sessions, swimming lessons and fitness tests.
