New spa to open at Ramside Hall Hotel

A new spa will open at UK countryside hotel Ramside Hall in June. The spa forms part of a £16 million ($24m) investment in the hotel, located in County Durham. 

The spa will feature 12 treatment rooms and carry the Espa skincare range. Among the facilities at the spa will be a swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room amenities and a rasul mud chamber. 

Anthony Woodhouse, general manager of spa and leisure at Ramside Hall, said of the decision to work with Espa:

“We did a lot of research before deciding which company to partner with for the spa and were so impressed with Espa’s product range and reputation that we realised this would be a perfect fit for us.”

Paula Perkins, director of spa development at Espa, said: “We are delighted to work closely with the Ramside Hall team on the exciting development of their luxury health club and spa.” 

The new spa and wellness facilities at the hotel will also include a gym, a fitness studio and a hair salon.
