PB Q&A: Crazy Angel
What is your most popular product and what do you think makes it popular?
The most popular product in the range is the Crazy Angel Wing Smoother Smoothing Spray. This is a product that can be used with the professional tanning range or home use products. It is designed to be used pre-tanning to protect common dry areas such as elbows and knees. The reason this product is so popular is that it acts as a part-barrier on the skin so it doesn't stop the area from tanning completely whereas other barrier creams block the area completely preventing that area from tanning.
What makes your products special over the competition?
The Crazy Angel range is blended with natural ingredients to ensure that the result is one that is golden. As well as this we add a light fragrance to the range to mask the common 'fake tan' smell and we enhance the products with Bearberry extract to hydrate the skin and prevent 'streaking'. The end result is a natural, golden tan that smells heavenly.
How cost effective are your products when introducing them into a salon?
As we manufacture our own products this enables us to offer high quality products at a reasonable price point. This means there is a higher profit margin for salons but they can be safe in the knowledge that they are offering a reliable, high quality product to their clients.
Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their salons?
The Crazy Angel Training Course is designed to not only focus on technique we also educate the customer in such a way that they will feel confident when starting their spray tanning business. The course covers the science that is behind fake-tanning, the spray tan techniques and in-depth information on the Crazy Angel product range.
Why should salon owners visit your stand at Professional Beauty North?
We will be offering some unmissable deals on our professional equipment, professional salon sprays and the retail products. As well as this we will be continuously demonstrating the equipment and the spray tanning techniques.
Are you having anything new on your stand at the show?
The Crazy Angel Bronze Desire Instant Airbrush Self-Tan is brand new to Professional Beauty North.
Will you be having any special offers exclusive to the show?
We will exclusively offer all products VAT free, 3 for 2 on professional spray tanning litres and special prices on all spray tanning equipment.
What tips would you give salon owners looking to introduce a new line into their salon?
I would advise salons to research the products carefully and ensure thay are making the best product choice for them; social media can be a great source for seeing unbiased feedback. Also it is important they look at the competition in the area and the price point, it is always beneficial to offer something unique to the area they are based in.
