Monday 11 May – 2pm – Live webinar with Jessica Crane – “How to introduce a price increase in your beauty salon”

Salon consultant Jessica Crane will explain how beauty salon owners can introduce a price increase in their business and do so successfully. Crane will also advise on when is the right time to do this post-coronavirus – despite the fact there will be demand for beauty services when lockdown restrictions are lifted, clients may not have much cash to spend as usual. There will also be a 15-minute Q&A with the audience at the end. 

 

Tuesday 12 May – 1pm – Live webinar panel with Adam Chatterley, Dave Courteen, Phil Murphy and Emma-Jane North – “How to get your reopening strategy right for every client demographic"

This spa panel line-up will share real strategies for preparing their spas to safely and profitably reopen when allowed. They will also discuss the changes to what customers will be looking for in a post-Covid-19 world and how to adapt your services and journey to make sure you're reaching every client demographic. 

The panel includes Adam Chatterley, chair of the UK Spa Association; Dave Courteen, managing director of Mosaic Spa & Health Clubs; Phil Murphy, director of leisure and spa at Hoar Cross Hall; and Emma-Jane North, spa director of the Waterfont Hotel Spa & Golf at Wyboston Lakes. 

 

Wednesday 13 May – 3pm – Instagram Live with Kate Kerr – "Rosacea and acne: how to treat these skin conditions"

Top facialist Kate Kerr, owner of Kate Kerr London, will be delivering a masterclass on two big skincare issues – rosacea and acne. Kerr will explain why these skin conditions occur, what things can exacerbate these issues and how you can effectively treat both in salon, covering products and treatments. She will take questions from the audience throughout the live interview. 

 

Friday 15 May – 11am – Live webinar with Valerie Delforge – “Develop your leadership skills to overcome challenges”

Spa and salon business consultant Valerie Delforge will explore how to develop your managerial style to overcome challenges, covering both time management and leadership skills that managers can use during difficult periods, helping them to avoid those feelings of guilt or pressure related to not achieving enough. There will also be a 15-minute Q&A with the audience at the end.
