PHAB launches business helpline for salon managers
PHAB Standard (Performance in Hair & Beauty) has launched a helpline service for industry professionals seeking business advice.
PHAB chief executive Nergish Wadia-Austin who has more than 35 years’ industry experience, will share her advice via private one-to-one telephone, Skype or FaceTime consultations.
Wadia-Austin will offer advice on topics including how to increase sales and profits, staff management and productivity, the right time to expand or invest, creating marketing materials tackling declining sales, boosting repeat business and how to improve customer service standards or retail sales.
The sessions will be in the format of 15-minute calls that can be extended if needed.
The helpline is open to managers of salons or spas, as well as self-employed hair, beauty and nail professionals. PHAB is charging £35 per 15-minute call, which can booked via the group’s website. www.phabstandard.com
Wadia-Austin has worked in the hair, beauty, nail and male grooming industries, running salons, spas and barbershops.
She commented, “Many salon owners or managers have no business partner or experienced colleague to turn to when they have a niggling question or just need to talk something through. So I’ve created a resource where anyone in management can access confidential, pragmatic solutions and practical knowledge.”
PHAB operates a customer service and business performance standards system for the hair and beauty salon industry. It’s website is designed to promote salons that offer high standards to consumers.
