Professional Beauty meets Heaven

Heaven's founder Deborah Mitchell tells PB about her successful products and the new range, on show at Professional Beauty North.

Why did you get involved with the beauty industry?

I had acne and I thought if I learned about skincare I could treat the condition, as great skin was vital for my modelling career. As soon as I started treating people I had the strangest feeling I was home. That feeling has never left me; it’s just continued to grow.

 

What has been the key to your success?

Firstly, I never really see myself as that successful,  although I do have to give myself a little pinch when I think about my 230 Heaven Spas worldwide. I never feel as though I’m working and I love helping people and solving their skincare problems. 

 

Why did you take the holistic route?

Spiritualism, believing in good thoughts and healing is just who I am, it runs in my family. Choosing organic ingredients was again the only way truly to help the skin. Heaven is a results driven range, every product works straight away.

 

How has the beauty industry changed over the years?

The frozen, puffy face is out of fashion now because so many comedians are ridiculing it. The natural alternatives which do work, such as the Heaven Bee Venom Mask and a 

 

Why did you decide to make your own product range?

Because I’m allergic to parabens and chemicals in products, so this pushed me to make my own range. We make chemical free products that achieve visible results.

 

Describe your product line.

An organic results driven brand. No compromise to perfect skin.

 

What inspired you to create the Bee Venom Mask?

I caught sight of my reflection in the mirror and thought I looked old. Not wanting to use botulinum toxin, I began working on a natural alternative. I now have a patented Ingredient which I won a Gold Stevie Award for in 2013, ABEETOXIN^®.

 

You have a lot of famous clients, can you tell us about them?

I never speak of my high profile clients out of respect, although if they wish to talk about their Heaven treatments that is up to them, which obviously makes me very happy when they do.

 

Your products are a Worldwide success, why did you choose Shifnal not London for your flag ship store?

In Shifnal the poeple are wonderful, our clients come here from all over the World and it brings new customers to a place I love.

 

Why change the products this year when they are so good already?

The name for the new range is #stratosphere because of the intensification, your skin will be out of this World when you use them for just one day.
